Yes, I think the driver of the other car was drunk. So chandler is now in a commercial for the lawyer who handled the case.
Wonder how much insurance the other guy had to settle this claim. Parsons “suffered multiple severe and permanent injuries including a traumatic brain injury, disc herniation and a torn labrum,” according to his attorneys in a January 2020 statement. The three-car crash in Atlanta was caused by a person who was charged with DUI.
I’d bet my house he didn’t have enough to cover a totaled rolls. I’m sure Chandler had uninsured/underinsured to cover it though. His insurance will sue the other guy and get a judgment that will never be paid.
I am sure he had a lot of uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage that will take the place of the other persons bodily injury coverage or pay in addition to what they had. Not sure where he had the car registered but in Florida uninsured motorist does not cover the car only bodily injury. Car physical damage coverage comes from his collision if the other person does not have insurance or enough insurance.
I guess I knew that. In TX, uninsured/underinsured covers the car if the person who caused the accident doesn’t have enough to fix your car. I just moved back a couple years ago, and do remember going over that with the agent here. Uninsured/underinsured is MUST HAVE in TX. We got hit 4-5 times over the years there. Every single one was “no license, no insurance, no english”.
