i am coming down to Florida, it has been about fifteen years since I have seen a live Gator Basketball game in Gainseville. I know with all the new buildings, where is a good place to park? The Oklahoma State game on the twenty ninth is the game I am coming to see with my wife, I see tickets online but most are in the nose-bleed sections, but seeing all the lower bowl seats going empty last night, does anybody not going to this game know of any tickets I could pickup and enhance my live game experience, I would appreciate any info?
I recommend you call coach Napier to get that straightened out! LOL Sorry big guy, I'm like you, haven't been there in awhile!
I haven't seen any electronic scalpers. Do people still have access to paper tickets? Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
I have seen some ok tickets online, but if anybody can’t make it, I could buy them if that is even a possibility. I am like other Gator Basketball fans, it is a shame on us when there are empty seats down low in front of the cameras. Looking forward to seeing a live game. With the pandemic, I live in the suburbs of Nashville, I love live music, but I have cut those out for nearly two years, one of the reasons I came to Nashville. Big sports town also with the SEC men’s Basketball tournament here almost every year. I have gone to this twice and was volunteering to work the tournament through the Nashville Sports Council. Well, tried twice, the pandemic crushed it out. My luck! Oh well, someday I hope we get back to having these live events and don’t have to worry about spreader events. I am making the exception due to a long time since I went to the ODome and I am coming through town. Don’t always know when I can get by Gainseville with my kids out in California and two grandkids, but I will be for this game. Go Gators!
Prices on Ticketmaster and StubHub et al should plummet the closer you get to tip off, if you can wait, as people start to panic sell.
I have two coming down low behind the dazzlers. But thanks for the reply. If something changes, I will get back to you. Thanks again! Bullish
I haven’t gone to any games for a few years, but I used to park at the honor dorms which are very close to the arena. They are on Gale Lemerand Drive north of Archer Road. People park on the grass there. I did not get a single parking ticket in over 15 years of parking on the grass.
Many years ago I could stand outside the ODome before basketball games and get a ticket for $5. One time it was Kentucky visiting and scalpers were getting $100 to $150 a ticket. A few minutes after the game started I decided to leave and as I was walking to my car in the parking garage, a fellow came along and gave me his extra ticket for free.
