Meyer fired 13 games into turbulent Jags stint

 

Urbs is a real kick.

“I’m in a lunge position. Left leg forward, right leg back,” Lambo said. “… Urban Meyer, while I’m in that stretch position, comes up to me and says, ‘Hey Dips–t, make your f–king kicks!’ And kicks me in the leg.”

Meyer, who doesn’t call Jaguars specialists by their names, uses profanities to call them, but that part didn’t bother Lambo.

Lambo spoke for the first time publicly about what he said happened to him in an interview with the Tampa Bay Times.

“It certainly wasn’t as hard as he could’ve done it, but it certainly wasn’t a love tap,” Lambo said. “Truthfully, I’d register it as a five (out of 10). Which in the workplace, I don’t care if it’s football or not, the boss can’t strike an employee. And for a second, I couldn’t believe it actually happened. Pardon my vulgarity, I said, ‘Don’t you ever f–king kick me again!’ And his response was, ‘I’m the head ball coach, I’ll kick you whenever the f–k I want.’”

 

And yet we are just hearing about this now and notice how the kicker tries to make himself sound like a bad ass. If true, Urban kicked you and you did nothing like a little bitch. Crying about it months later after you cut makes this kicker a crybaby bigger bitch.

 

I knew that owner would never give Urban enough time to fix that mess... Screw the Jags.

Jags are like the Redskins, never going to be good consistently without a new owner.

Who the hail worth a damn will want to work for a POS owner that fires coaches in less than one full freaking year? No one...

 

Yeah..they can get together at his bar and discuss their firings and laugh all the way to the bank

People would complain if the kicker went public right awayand didn't handle try to handle it internally. Now people are complaining he didn't share it publicly soon enough?

I think that's missing the big picture, that a grown man kicked another grown man. That's absurd.

 

People don’t want to hold Meyer accountable for what he did to get himself fired, so they’re blaming the Jags owner. The lack of accountability is amazing to see.

 

Lambo is happy now. When asked to comment on the firing, he sang "I Get a Kick out of You."

 

Allegedly kicked another man. And under the law that would be battery. So yes, when you fail to report a crime and then come out 2 months after you were cut from the team, people are permitted to be suspicious of motive and timing.

 

He was in over his head from day 1. In every aspect. Khan made a splash hire that sold lots of tickets. He didn’t hire an NFL coach. Now all the attention was the bad kind. Khan recognized coaches come and go but he’s trying to salvage the career of his QB Lawrence. I could care less about Meyer, I feel bad for Lawrence, I hope for his sake Khan hires a good coach and this young man can show his potential.

 

There may have been some drama surrounding Urban, but the man is a proven winner. I mean he doubled the Jags wins from last year.....
