An fsu player drove the lane, only to have Mckissic slide over and rip the ball away, and do so in a way that screamed, "give me that damn ball". He then sprinted down the court, attacked the rim, was fouled and converted.
But the two-handed rip was fantastic.

We could use him at safety in football.

one of my favorite plays too. Before the 'and one' free throw he brought CC and Appleby in and I could read his lips saying "we got this." He's the team leader we've been looking for

Because I’m a nerd, I went back and watched the whole game focusing on him specifically. He reminds me of Appleby last year - for all the good he does, sometimes just refuses to settle for the smart or situationally correct choice, especially on offense. I assume that’s a function of being on bad teams and having to always be the guy. If they can get him reined in he is going to be really fun to watch. Flan had a few of those today too (dude likes to dribble lol), same reason I assume. But word is they are both coachable, so neither is close to their ceiling as far as contributions. Which is good news for the team.

That was my 9 year-old’s favorite play of the game. He backed that up and narrated about five different times.

Go Gators! Great win over SOW!

A lot us said the only guarantee this season is that we'd be tougher and more competitive...that was definitely the case vs FSU. We still don't know the ceiling of the team, but the floor seems higher than previous seasons.

    Great W!

That was one of the best steals I've ever seen. Wish he could have finished with a bucket but calmly sinking free throws is nails.

    He will make everyone better.

I loved his attitude at the end of the game. He held that ball, looked right in the face of FSU defender with this “I dare you to touch MY BALL” look. Then let’s out a huge “woooooooooo” as the clock expires.

Video? Because, of course, Gatorvision only has offensive plays on the game highlight.

I will say Duruji had so many good plays, that I couldn’t decide which one to pick as my favorite. Maybe his steal and finish, said, FSU NOT TODAY, this is for Keyontae! Roar.......

I liked when Anthony Duriji lost his weak side defender and slipped in along the baseline for a quick two points. Nice assist too.

My favorite was at the end of the game. We are up and clearly going to win, but our guys still dove on the court and wrestled the ball away from the FSU players. They were fighting for the ball even though we were up by 16 with the clock ticking. Haven't seen that attitude since Patric Young days.

My 11 year old loved it and made a snarky "We need that in football" reference :D

My favorite play was when FSU tried to inbound to midcourt and we intercepted it.

I also liked the beginning of one offensive set where the ball was whizzing around. And then it wasn't.

Besides that steal, I would say my favorite part was controlling the ball for the entire last minute of the game. I know we were already up big, but fsu did not control the ball in the entire last minute of the game if my memory serves me correctly. Very nice to see our guys fight for every loose ball and rebound until the end.
