Just because he’s visiting doesn’t mean he’s coming to UF. You must be new because if you weren’t you would have seen this story play out already.

I guess we will never know. I read that AR is a much better clapper.

On a different point, a QB that pushes the ball downfield can better handle getting behind the sticks.

Kids want to win, they want their family to see them play, they want to start early, and they want to get to the NFL. If you have a position coach that has never produced a NFL player, that might give a HS recruit and their family pause. Certainly gives another program a negative recruiting opportunity. Our CB coach and LB Coach are young kids with relatively no experience compared to the coaching staffs at other top programs. Our DC falls more in the Hevesy recruiting prowess camp.

It's such an easy negative recruit and to point out obvious weaknesses is not negative.

I think it was meant to be ...

“A five star recruit is visiting campus. In your face!”

Yep - could be that a different game plan with AR - or Emory - could’ve made a difference.

  7. We'll always get visits because UF is UF. Some staffs can close and some can't. We've certainly got a chance but as usual it's an uphill battle and someone else seems to have the upper hand.

I didn’t say that. Are you implying emory Jones is the reason the O line moved 8 times?

there is enough material to criticize Emory on where you don’t have to make things out to be his fault that actually weren’t.

What? A kid is a "headache" because he couldn't get on the field on the deepest defense in the country as a true freshman?

No, because of his "recruiting" history and bailing after one season

His recruitment wasn't even that drama filled. He made one decommitment and took his time before making a final commitment. In terms of FL recruits, that was like a 1 on the drama scale.

I don't know him personally, but I wouldn't rule him out just for that. Guys who get 5 stars on their profile and are told that they are the last piece to get (insert university name) to a national championship have a certain expectation of how they will fit on the roster. It's just a natural thing that maybe a 1/3 (mostly high 4 stars and some 5 stars) of the roster on a Bama or Georgia is going to leave in the portal, or they would not be able to keep getting 25 recruits every year plus transfers. It's better that a recruit like him wise up and transfer early if it is clear he can't get in the two deep in two years. CB should play early. He's not an OL or QB. I would take him or a Denver Harris any time I could and show him the door at the earliest if he becomes a cancer in the locker room.
