Do not worry about who Mullen wants at QB, we will be more than fine at that position!

yea that’s how I feel too. Not saying every year we’ll have elite QB play but i think the year that Feleipe had stats wise in 2018 is the FLOOR for a QB under Mullen while he’s at UF

Hopefully coaches are looking at a few of those WRs and TEs too. Some really nice grabs in traffic and some contested grabs too. Also noticed his RBs picking up the rush consistently

That number 11 looks like Julian Edelman with deep speed! Super tough and runs away from everyone? Can we we get him in the slot!

I was thinking of Chris Leak also because he seems to be doing a lot of recruiting.

It’s always great to get one of those guys early who is all in on getting elite prospects to join the class (i.e. Diwun Black, Iverson Clement). BUT when it’s your Quarterback doing the recruiting that takes it next level and can really haul in a great class with chemistry! Just my opinion.

His recruiting is great. I am just happy Mullen got one of his top targets. I like everything about his film save perhaps for his release/throwing motion, which is one of the most overrated considerations in assessing a HS recruit and projecting college success.

Projects to be quite a QB room in 2022, with EJ as a senior and depth well-distributed down the classes. May be too good to expect to keep everyone past next spring, but we will see.

Tebow had an unusual release, too, and, well... you know how that went.

Interesting. Pretty much says Alabama got better in the long run by NOT getting Tebow, leaving Alabama with no redzone-worthy QB, hastening mediocre Mike Shula's demise at Alabama, and, then bringing in Saban. Crazy turn of events. We had a lot of great talent on those teams, but, Tebow pushed us over the top for our period of national dominance at just the perfect time when Alabama was vulnerable.
