Based on what? Lots of smoke he is super impressed with how Pitts was used & the monster #'s he put up. He also had a convo with Pitts himself. So he can come here and be an AA, or go "home" and catch 12 passes for 100yrds a season for Kuuurrrby.
That's probably the most underrated statement about Marco ever written. He obviously couldn't cover a one legged man on crutches the past couple years.
Interesting that you are seeing players now depart more freely when a program makes coaching changes. Can really set a program back and create depth challenges for new coaching staff.

We're probably after any decent to good OT that hits the portal though. OL play has been meh at best under Hev.
We have exactly two spots left, and, most expect one to be saved for a future portal entry, with the other likely already being in the wings. We've already picked up four players of great need from the portal this year (a 5* RB, two badly-needed DTs, and, a Kicker to replace McPherson). We've done very well there in the last two years, as well. So, your post rings hollow.
Yes but there hasnt been any smoke about our interest with him. Purportedly we are in on another player and leaving a spot open for a recruit if I recall reports here correctly. I imagine we may be passing on offensive line due to reports of returning players along with development of our younger guys. That may not make everyone here happy and i would love to snag a ringer at that position if available but I imagine the staff that has had so much success with the portal knows what they have and are using it accordingly.
These 5 star kids don’t do things that make sense. In fact, the early smoke here was he was listening to Washington and Uga as they were recruiting him to Uga... to, um, split the 20 reps with Washington?? Our staff has an MO. They either move really really fast with kids in the portal (Van Jefferson, Grimes, Cox, Shelton, the new kicker from MSU) or not at all (MAR, Tyrique Stevenson, etc. Staff had the opportunity to get Gilbert, but passed. Something smells of the staff not liking something. This is just my opinion, and I could still be proven wrong. But its not looking that way right now. If there is a way to track how Long a player was on portal before our staff grabbed them, you will see my point. My opinion... we moved on
