Widespread mask usage seems to be happening but zero social distancing. I don't think this is very smart of them and a rise in cases will likely occur. There you go.

Sad comment on the TWIV Podcast today. While providing the weekly clinical update, Dr. Griffin was discussing about how badly we may be under counting the number of daily infections. Apparently colleagues of his in places like Texas, and the Dakotas are telling him that people are coming to the doctors presenting with Covid symptoms and refusing to be tested because if they are positive "the government is going to take their freedom away". There are literally people that are too stupid for their own good in this country.

My wife was trying to convince me how amazing it was but agree with you on this one. I don’t like hypocrisy and this absolutely was. I’ll continue to defend the protests, a social justice movement has to happen in the moment. Protests can’t wait for the pandemic to end and still be impactful, but celebrating the election results? Yeah, I’m sure we’ll see more cases resulting from this.

Sounds like a self fulfilling prophecy. Has symptoms, won't get tested due to conspiracies, spreads virus getting more people sick causing closures. Saying I told you so!!

Applaud the mask-wearing, but they should be socially distancing as well, such as at Biden's acceptance speech. Very responsible of the president-elect to organize his rally in a safe, scientific method.

I think if you change “government” with “employer” this story may be much more believable. It doesn’t really even make sense.

I’m sure many are avoiding tests to keep their kids in school. It’s unfortunate, but many can’t afford to give up their income to stay at home with a healthy 8 yr old.

Biden named his task force today. All are the nation's top doctors. Not a single Biden family member in sight.

No, but only a Republican president organizes events which break guidelines and encourages people to do so. Those presumed liberals need to practice what they preach re: social distancing, but they're also not the POTUS.
