If the only thing you have left is making up things that I did not say, then you've got nothing.

I can't get over how you consider 2 incidents, one of them for shoplifting! a "life of crime. Cartel boss, serial killers, even repeat GTA offenders--these are people leading a life of crime.

If the builder that installed the camera in the house didn't want intruders, he should have posted that trespassers would be shot.

It doesn't matter what you think, I've already made the facts true, in my mind, based on what we've all seen from you, like you have against Arbery.

    Just using your own logic.

How many times have you been arrested for bringing a gun into a high school gym or shoplifting? So now we have to post signs that say "you'll be shot if you come in" if we don't want intruders inside our property?

I guess a life of crime for black man includes bringing a gun to school 7 years ago, and a petty shoplifting charge 2 years ago. Clearly, Arbery was on a dangerous path and an escalation to serial killer was fortunately ended by the McMichaels, right @LouisvilleGator!

Sorry, but the above is crap. The two charges show no "life of crime" and no escalation into anything serious. It had been two years since the last charge, and according to the Arbery family, he was seriously thinking about going to a trade school to learn to be an electrician. He deserved the chance to make something of himself, which the McMichaels stole from him. Period.

Last, the owner of the house under construction was likely worried about stuff being stolen. That's why he had the camera. Onlookers curious about what was going on didn't seem to concern the home owner, since Arbery had been on camera multiple times and the home owner didn't say anything or call the police. Likely again, because nothing was stolen.

Arbery made a few mistakes in his youth. Whom amongst us haven't? Doesn't mean that we deserve to get hunted down and shot to death because we're curious about a house under construction. Yet, some people here seem to think Arbery got what he deserved.

A new prosecutor has been appointed to the case:

Joyette M. Holmes of the Cobb County Judicial Circuit is the fourth prosecutor to take the case. Two previous prosecutors recused themselves because of previous work connections with one of the suspects, Gregory McMichael, a retired police detective in the southeastern Georgia community where the fatal shooting occurred.

According to local news reports, Holmes was appointed by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) last year as the first black woman to serve as the district attorney for Cobb County, a suburban area north of Atlanta.

I don't believe for a second the reason put forth by the 3rd prosecutor for the hand-off of this potentially career-damaging case.

If you kill them soon enough their life gets cut short so more of their life had crime in it.

The "you'll be shot," thing was tongue-in-cheek, duh. I shoplifted once, but didn't get caught (probably because I was a cute, white female middle-schooler. The manager even patted my curly head.

Probably half this Board has a longer rap sheet than Arbery.

You have insinuated several times that the dead dude bears some responsibility. This is the 3rd time I have asked you. What percentage of fault does Arbery bear and what percent do the McMichaels bear?

Ridiculous question. As I have stated, this is not a black and white, clear cut case. But if the jury says not guilty, I would assume there is some responsibility on Arbery's part, would you not? And again, I'm not predicting that verdict, but the more this unfolds, I see Trayvon Martin II. Except this time we have actual video of the shady deeds before the altercation by Arbery and we have actual video of the altercation where we can clearly see Arbery run towards McMichael, when he had another escape route, punch him violently in the face a couple of times before shots were fired. This is almost Zimmerman-Martin to a T, except this time we don't have to rely on Zimmerman's account of what he saw Martin doing before the altercation and we don't have to rely on an eyewitnesses hazy account of seeing Martin on top of Zimmerman. It's all on video. The only difference is McMichael was an actual cop at one time, Zimmerman was not. They both called police before it unfolded and they were both trying to stop break ins. Almost eery how similar, except this time, we don't have to wonder how truthful Zimmerman (McMichael) is being. It's all on tape.

I would prefer to observe the trial and evidence before making blanket proclamations. In the last 3 days alone, we've had a good bit of evidence and info that have come out. I'm guessing there is more to come.

Dependent on all the evidence it wouldn't surprise me to see a plea deal worked out. Just a guess on my part.

How about video of the McMichaels "shady deeds?"
That whole "escape route," thing is so lame. Arbery didn't want to be shot in the back, so he went on the offensive. Of course his punches were violent, were they supposed to be gentle? Man has a shotgun pointed at you, might be a good time to do your best impression of Ali.
You seem firmly in the killer's camp now, like their defense attorney. And please don't prattle on about "objective;" words like "altercation," "Arbery runs towards McMichaels," "punch him violently," telegraph quite clearly your thoughts on this crime. (The murder, not the trespassing.)

I suspect this is going to follow a familiar pattern. Arbery wasn't out for a jog, he was trespassing at a construction site where he'd been filmed trespassing before. Why? I have no idea. He probably does have history of mental illness. Maybe he was mostly harmless.

These guys (dummies) knew who he was and decided on a DIY arrest rather than allow law enforcement to deal with what may have been only a minor problem. They may have been racist--I'd guess they were, but I doubt it's provable.

They attempt to trap Arbery. Unsurprisingly, it doesn't go as planned. Arbery is able to grab the shot gun, a struggle ensues, and the older man shoots Arbery in back. Maybe he didn't care if Arbery lived or died from the get go.

I don't know what crime the men are guilty of. That will depend on Georgia law and how the Jury sees evidence. But the issue is whether the men's actions meet the elements of the crimes they are charged with, not whether Arbery did anything to deserve to be killed. Bad law
    sometimes produces unfair outcomes.

If it’s a clear cut modern day lynching caught on tape, why in the world would the DA offer a plea bargain?
