If they didn't have the public health experts in the room, what exactly were they talking about?

To a lot of Americans the Covid19 strain of the coronavirus is still an abstraction. That's going to change rather quickly as people they know develop the disease. One example.
Her Facebook Friends Asked If Anyone Was Actually Sick. She Had an Answer.
Also keep in mind that Mark Frilot was an otherwise healthy 45-year old, not an elderly person with an underlying medical condition.

Of course, in vivo versus in vitro. However, this drug happens to have been around for a long time and is recognized as having few side effects. In the absence of formal FDA approval we must make our own decision (along with our docs), but I know what mine would be right now.

I read to be counted as "recovered" you had to have 2 negative tests... Doubt that we are spending time retesting people that clinically are well when we don't have the ability to test those who are sick....

Pretty sure we actually are testing twice. It is my understanding it takes 2 negs to equal an all clear. They don't want infected people leaving quarantine.

I get that. But we have lots of "sick" people who aren't getting tested so are they really able to do two tests on people how are home in quarantine? Is that only getting done on hospitalized people?

For those in FL, DeSantis expected to shut down all non essential businesses today.
