Well...bad OL and bad QB leaves the downfield passing game a very high-risk option. The only way we can even try that is if we can get the front 7 off-balance and get some running yards, which has not happened today.

...or roll the pocket, like I suggested, but I think that is in fact illegal.

 

After further review, both teams played scared, not to lose.

 

Seems to me Mullen is playing not to lose instead of to win. Maybe it was just to get it into 2nd half. Just got that vibe.

Curious to know from Nick, Andrew or anyone who is at the game if we have receivers running open....

Especially to Frank's left side. Seems he keys on the right side of the field every passing play. Makes things a lot easier to defend...

I'm not all that disappointed in the way we're playing, except for the OL and DL. They are gashing us with the run. I see improvement. Not sure about the last minute of clock management, however.

 

Must get a drive started and score 7!

 

Problem with that is they'll know our play if he is in, and if he is not.
