I think the most credible proof is the large contingent (including the president) which flew to NH. That we know happened.

Well that's disappointing. Gotta admit I had my hopes up a bit.

 

Assuming we are going the "up and coming" coach route now, maybe it will actually work out this time?We are kinda due.

It definitely has to be an offensive guy though. Can't hire a Les Miles or Bob Stoops just to get a "name brand". I think that is actually the bigger risk, Strickin tries to hire a "name" to appease the fan base and that guy ends up washed up.

 

That could have the first face to face meeting and once UF got there and meet Kelly left without making an offer. We only know the meeting happened nothing else.

Love ya bro, but could you remove the “Frost” mention on this title as 1) we most likely won’t get him and don’t want to look all the more foolish to the 1000s of people reading this and 2) let’s not jinx it.

I hope we get Frost over Chip to begin with and would be so ecstatic should we but the initial reports are all not good.

 

@tilly and @BenTrillGriffin thanks guys. It sucks what it ended up being but I hope you guys continue to post. Definitely kept coming over from the insider side just for your posts. Can’t help that someone decided to back down from the challenge.

 

To be fair, it’s not Shannon’s fault that Franks has zero awareness or pocket presences.

I suppose we aren't nearly as devastated as we will be when Kelly also steals Matt Corral.

 

If what I'm reading here is true- SS and the UAA wanting to micromanage everything, then we won't ever get back to the glory days.
We are a mess all the way around right now. You gotta give a coach what he wants to come here, because our reputation isn't enough anymore.

Last I checked, not many top level coaches were knocking on the door asking to come here. We are the ones doing the asking

It is not that, it is that when the info shared proved not to match reality, some not all, claimed that their info was still correct,

It’s like that poster said; I am not always correct but when I am, I am 100%.

Just come in and say that the info that was fed to you was wrong.
