We don't need a spread offense. Jimbo, Kirby, and Richt don't run spreads. Saban didn't run a spread until Hurts got there (and he'll likely go back to a more pro style scheme once Hurts leaves).
Isn't Landry one of duemigs top guys? Isn' duemigs the guy that got punched out by Scot Brantley? Not sure who to believe.
If that's remotely true, heads need to roll. If I were another coach and got wind, I wouldn't think twice.
I don’t think Strong would be a appropriate hire. After 2 dud coaches, we really need somebody who provides a sense of security immediately. I still think if it’s not CK, it’s gotta be Mullen. It would be nice to have somebody who was on our championship run to be back in the program. He’s been a HC in the SEC for 9 years, he knows the deal.
I could see some guys being retained. I'm sure there's some talent there and some recruiting ties that would be valuable . That would be a suggestion not a sticking pont
Seems like just yesterday Champ was fired and the boards were all "Got to go get Charlie" Oh My how times have changed.
Those teams are built differently. Muschamp and Mac run the pro, and well.... We've all seen the results. Saban had to switch up his O b/c Hurts isn't the greatest passer, and isn't his prototypical game manager QB.
It’s why you never ever buy insider info. Never right and ends up waste of money - at least pat Dooley has the right info and its free
Now if only I could get past his pompous arrogance. I have had the misfortune of conversing with that jerk off at multiple Gator gatherings...he is the smartest guy in all of college sports...just ask him.
