Why is our fan base this ridiculous? Do you people never learn?

Let me spell this out for our fans who apparently don't watch UF, or understand the State of Florida and the offenses run by high schools here.
, three national titles, 2 heisman winners, Nine SEC titles(I'm including 1990 screw it). We spent all but what, three years finishing in the top ten?

Yea..so let's look at pro styles.

Now..three pro style(Zook, Mus, Mac) - 0 SEC titles. Two title game appearances. One top ten finish to the regular season.

Notice something? SPREAD WORKS PRO STYLE IS BAD. Fedora yes was a mix of the two, but less spread than Meyer or Spurrier's offenses while here. Stop with this damn pro style coaches. Miles was fired because he couldn't develop and QB and was handicapped offensively. You know...OUR PROBLEM FOR SEVEN years.

What does it take for you people to just get the picture...pro style does not work here. We don't get that type of player. It's why UF will never be elite with a pro style. Not unless we get the great wall and Smith back magically.

ESPN certainly isn’t calling it a done deal..

Florida officials are scheduled to meet with UCF coach Scott Frost's representatives in Orlando, Florida, this weekend, as the Gators are preparing to move on in case former Oregon coach Chip Kelly chooses the UCLA job, sources told ESPN's Mark Schlabach and Edward Aschoff.

Sources said Kelly has not informed the Gators of a decision, but Florida officials feel their chances of landing the current ESPN analyst have diminished since meeting with him at his home in New Hampshire on Sunday.

Let's see, are there top flight universities fighting over Les Miles to coach their teams?

Are there any universities that hurried a firing to fight over Les Miles to be their next HC?

Has Les Miles took a team of 2* & 3* players to NC games and a bunch of BCS games?

Has Les Miles put out dynamic offenses at ANY time in his career?

Who would you trust more to win a game strategy wise? Miles or Kelly?

As for being jobless, Kelly is making a fortune from the 49era and knows he can be patient. If Miles is so awesome, why is his name not mentioned by ANYONE. Literally no team is bringing him up to be their next HBC.

He'd be no better than Mac, and no worse than TOG. And that's a fact.

    I don’t disagree. He’s a good coach.

I just don’t think we will be an elite team. We will be a good team.

Would one of the hell bent pessimistic naysayers who have concluded that UF -CK is dead in the water, be so kind as to address this point here?

Seems like y'all are doing a touchdown dance in the end zone, while completely ignoring the nine flags on the field, and the ref. indicating that it's coming back...

Couple of coaches that expect to be part of Chip Kelly's staff tell me they don't know what's going on & even asking me---they feel that FLORIDA is a no, but insist that UCLA not done deal yet--being told by Chip to hold on...both think something else might be cooking with Chip.

Hard to say but things don't look good. Kelly did convince everyone before he wasn't taking the Philly job before taking it.

That would be fine but that's not what we are being told. If that's the case , he just doesn't want to be here and there's nothing we can do about it.

I think charlie would do great here if our cheap athletic department allowed strong to hire an elite level offensive coordinator. im not sure that happens though. the thing that hurt strong at texas was them micromanaging what strong could do and limiting his hires. i think florida would do the exact same thing with strong so i dont think under that circumstance we get a different result with strong than texas did

Willie Taggart has reach out to UF via back channels to get this job.

We can save face here by getting Taggart, he'd kill it here.

Give him whatever amount of busses he requires

this is also a common response from people who get really offended really easily from opposing points of views.

you've offered nothing of substance other than crying.

I hope people who think coaches know or care what is on message boards represents a small part of the fanbase since it is a terrible take.
