Crazy, optimistic, whatever you want to call it. What if kiffin came in here and killed it though? I wouldn't be upset if we hired him.
You want Mac back? Seems like the only thing that makes you tick is badmouthing the program and the UAA. Got any solutions to offer?
According to USA today, the sticking point was keeping some of Florida's current coaches. Evidently Kelly did not want to have that dictated to him. Anyhow, almost all the news media is reporting he is gone, but most are saying Florida backed off from him. Is it even possible Florida AD sought to dictate to Kelly which assistant coaches he would keep? Is that even within the realm of possibilities?
Good question. Maybe it's just that Frost and Kelly are close friends. It would make sense they have the same agent since they coached together. But does anyone know? Perhaps it would be a violation of our confidentiality agreement for Kelly to divulge information to Frost.
TheThe difference is saban ended up at Alabama. Results are the only thing that matters nobody wants to hear excuses. We get her number one choice or we don't it's that simple
So I've read the Pat Forde Yahoo column saying we've moved on from Chip Kelly. Nowhere in the article does it say that Chip has chosen UCLA. In fact, he speculates he could opt to stay at ESPN: With Florida and Kelly no longer a possibility, UCLA is the increasingly likely new destination for the former coach of the Oregon Ducks — if Kelly returns to coaching. He could still remain in an analyst role at ESPN, where he has spent this season. In further searching, virtually every other article I could find pointed back to this singular "source" for its report saying we would not be hiring Chip. These include reports on USA Today, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, MSN, Sports Illustrated, SEC Country, Scout, BleacherReport, SaturdayDownSouth, as well as a slew of "hometown" newspaper websites. I don't know if Chip comes to UF or not, but I still haven't seen anything that says he's decided he's going to UCLA. Nothing from Chip, his agent, UCLA, or UF. All of this seems to stem from one report saying "we've moved on". But what if in reality, we have not...?
Please point to the attitude that rises to the point of "trolling" in any of my posts. Many who simply have been pointing out other outside reports indicating that Kelly to UF we're premature were called cockroaches, trolls and other rediculous things. All they have been doing were discussing rumors vs rumors, but you guys were too blind to see it.
The USA Today article says nothing about that being a sticking point. https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...o-longer-candidate-opening-florida/893402001/
Yeah, get rid of the idiots making the decisions over the last 8 years and get some people in power that have a clue. Thats what needs to happen for us to become great again but alas nearly impossible to get those at the top out of power.
