I think the majority of UF fans will be really pumped with either Kelly or Frost....if we miss out on both of them! The “hottest surface” will be the fire on this forum board! It gets very thin at C,D, and E coaches. Not sure I can think of a name that would bring more than 50 percent of UF fan approval. Strong or Mullen being hired would probably shut down GC’s new servers.

To be honest, I would be really happy with Frost. Is Nebraska really such a pull for him? It’s no longer an elite football program.

Would I love to see Kelly as HBC? Definitely. Frost? Of course. Norvell? Yep. Thing is, no matter who we hire, I’m an immediate fan. I know that our UAA have done everything they can to make the absolute best hire possible. There’s tons of pressure on those guys and I know they want Florida to be the pinnacle of college football. As long as they put 110% effort into this search and hiring process, and I know they are, I’m on board with the hire no matter who it is. I know Butch Jones won’t be the pick, but if he is, I’m an immediate Butch Jones fan. Why? Because he now leads my team. And whatever the Gator way may be, my way shall be! Win or lose, I’m orange and blue! I’ll always pull for my team and the coaches and players that represent my team no matter what! Ok, carry on with your thread. Go Gators!
I’ll take a young dynamic up and comer who’s personality can win a living room (Norvell) vs a proven average coach who fans already at one point had a Firedanmullen site up while he was here. In all fairness to Mullen it’d be lateral move anyways
They probably do know this, but given Kelly's history, they probably want to have some close oversite, or to have someone on the staff that is their choice given his ncaa show-cause history.
