Update: Kelly buzz..."The Thread" Hall of Fame bound.

I know everyone has their issues with Foley, but at the end of the day, the guy built UF's athletic program into the best overall in the country. Now, if we could just get this football and women's basketball thing figured out.

No other AD in college history can say they built national title teams in football, baseball and basketball. Yes I know, he had retired before the baseball title, but Sully was his guy, so you kind of have to give it to him.

 

Top 10 is Top 10. I spent last year at Harvard on sabbatical. UF is incrdibly respected at Harvard.

 

I think an auburn game in the 90s pissed me off more than any game ever. We were up three scores or so and kept throwing ints in the second half. Not sure what year. I'm sure some of you remember the game

 

94 maybe, one of the few home games we lost, but it was a hell of a game.

The more I read around tonight the more likely I think it’s UCLA.
Nothing concrete of course, but there isnt a single independent source that it’s us, and several that it’s likely them.
The only people saying it is likely us are our insiders, who are only getting one side of the story.
Things can still change of course and no one truly knows but Kelly, so we will see.

 

Have to agree. Being a UF grad has definitely gotten me some second looks nationwide I wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

Both are / were nasty rivalries.

 

I’ve always loved that Zook beat them on the very day they dedicated the field.

 

I don’t see a need to worry about anything until saturday or Sunday. What does it matter at this point?
