I’m wondering if the mystery plan c coach is ok fleck. He’s won everywhere and no one has really spoke about him for the Florida job. He’s only been one year in Minnesota but clearly Florida is a better job than Minnesota so you might need to jump ship early to grab it.
I'd like to think sasquatch scintilla and coach Kelly were old pals before Mac was told to sell his BBQ sauce elsewhere.
Look, I’m sure Shannon is a good guy and all, but would you tell Saban he has to keep any coaches from a dismal staff? Hell no! If we want Kelly, we’ll have to give him free reign to do as he sees fit. He he lets them all go, so be it. It’s not rocket science and maybe Spaceman Spiff has done that. Time will tell I guess. Now, let’s get back to giving thanks today for all we have Gator friends!
fwiw: Minnesota: PJ Fleck and Minnesota have agreed to a contract extension that will keep him with the Gophers into 2023, pending Board of Regents approval at their December meeting. Fleck is 5-6 in his first season with the program as they head into their final game of the season against undefeated Wisconsin.
Plan "B" is the name of a strip club out here in LA! HA!... Happy Turkey Day folks. May the best coach get the Gator job. Stephen Smith...he's a bit militant, and belligerent, but if Kelly's player relations aren't all chummy maybe that's a good thing; who knows? Look how all these kids disrespected Mac! Be their pals and they dump all over you. Go Gators -we have to be getting closer to our coach.
I've found that during times of adversity, some people will rally around you with optimistic hope for the future and a willingness to lend a hand, and others will abandon you with bitterness and regret. Both were invested, but you never know how they were invested until the chips are down. It seems like some people's bitterness and regret is getting the best of them, and they can't help but share it with us this Thanksgiving.
Eh, nuthin' wrong with being a tough negotiator. He a gamer. This part is a game in itself. Rather have a huntin' dog than a lap dog.
I would usually agree 100%, but that recent Pacquiao fight made me agree with him. Never thought that would ever happen. Smith and Teddy Atlas were just so adamant that boxing was a farce! It was more entertaining than the actual fight! Lol
Fleck seemed really enthusiastic the one time I've seen him coach on TV. But of course it takes more than that to win games. When Lee Corso was a head coach he used to do somersaults. But the idea of Fleck is intriguing.
That's one of the benefits of being at FSU. You can go to the clown college and work on your somersault form with the pros.
These are chithead fans for every school. Dealing with them is a part of every coaching position. Not unique to UF.
Agree - it does blows those away too. My point was is that choosing UCLA over Gainesville wouldn't be just because of how the program has fallen.
I noticed that. The academic rep of UCLA is better but the gap between the two isn't as wide as the perception he seemed to have. Unfortunately, among those who don't really know UF, that perception is often fed by the stench of the SEC.
Read his post again. Florida also has not (yet) lost to FSU. He was clearly making a pessimistic prediction for how his weekend is going to turn out.
