Our board has been lit up that he's coming here. Still haven't seen any knowledgeable source lending credit to the rumors.
I am still hoping Tilly and BenTrill are right about CK, but if that ship has sailed, why are we not talking about Malzahn, Franklin, or Dabo? All of this arguing about Mullen's record at MSU is causing me to be queasy on Thanksgiving Day. So, if you could knock it off, that would be great!
Anyone could turn out a bust. But of the available candidates Kelly is as sure of a thing that's been available to the Gators during a head coach search arguably ever.
Happy Thanks Giving, fellow Gator Fans! something for the boredom for those of you that prefer the cliff notes version
Yah and thats the problem guy UF isn't the academic institution it is today if the football program doesn't have the success it had in the 90s 00s
I'll reiterate that I know nothing of this rubber chicken people speak of. At Polk Gator Club it's usually delicious BBQ and/or steaks. C'mon down to Lakeland, Chip, for your once per year speaking engagement!
Bucs are a close second. Dad made the mistake of taking me over to Fins games in Marino era...lol. He is a lifetime Bucs fan. He was at the first playoff game in 79.
Happy Thanksgiving to all the Gator faithful, may your turkeys be juicy and your families be pleasant. If you're on here you're already stressed out from this thread, don't let today add to it, relax and enjoy the day with the people you love.
The One report that scared me was Frangie saying he has direct knowledge of assistant coaches who Kelly reached out to about UCLA
Thanks for info. Interesting. No offense and no intent to kill the messenger but... As to themes about alleged unethical conduct by an agent, eh, not moved by it. Even if true, sounds like sour grapes (premature at that). If CK is/would be the right HBC for UF, then the deciding factor won't have been timing of when he learned about another opening or whether another school learned what we were offering. Key component of any big decision is comparing options. Also, not pursuaded by themes I've heard elsewhere that "CK played us". Everybody plays everybody in a negotiation. It's natural to create and utilize leverage. (It's kinda a thing). We win or lose based upon which of these two fundamentally different paths CK wants. No conspiracies. No excuses. No sniveling.
