I swear 80% of this thread is like listening to someone go into complete mental meltdown over someone they like. You know the story, two people in a relationship, one is "in love", the other needs a little space. The one "in love" reads way to deep into everything, "they didnt call at the time they normally call, they are leaving me", "they went out for drinks with friends and didnt invite me? clearly they hate me." All the while the person that needs the space is looking for just that, a little space but wants the relationship to work. When its all said and done the "in love" drives the "needs space" bat crap crazy and it all crashes and burns horribly.

That is what this thread feels like most of the time.

I guess I just have low standards in life, but I would be happy with Chip, Frost, Strong, Gundy, Norvell, Campbell, Fuentes, Mullen, and probably a couple others I've forgotten. I really think with good coordinators and recruiters any of those guys can be successful here. I do agree that Chip puts us on the map like none of the other guys on that list though.

At least one of these articles about Chip and "the decision" has the potential to provide infinite comedic value from Vol national. I guess one states that Chip turned down the Vols already. Someone has had to drop in on their fan sites to see what Vol intellectuals have to say about it.
