Chip Kelly choosing UCLA over UF--should that happen--has zero bearing on whether the Gators are a major program. That's as silly as the horse nipples posts a few hundred pages back. His decision might be based on intangibles impossible to quantify. It's not always check this box and that box and presto! you have the coach you want. One coach's decision is not the barometer for the quality of the Florida football program.

He's a coach and wants to be a coach. ESPN is just a landing spot until he decides where he wants to go next. I come back to if he is the one that contacted UF or made his interest known to Slick Slipman, then unless something went monumentally wrong he should be the next hbc here.
