In my long and sordid history of internet message board posting, I don't think I've ever once White Knighted on behalf of a Moderator in a procedural debate with a poster. You know now some coaches are players' coaches? Well I'm a posters' poster. lol But alas, today I must make an exception. @icequeen, I have to say that @tilly is totally in the right on this one. We've all had our fun on this thread, and you in particular have done a whole lot of idle chatting on far-ranging topics that have nothing whatsoever to do with the coaching search. Which is fine, IMO! I've certainly posted more than my share of off-topic posts as well. But, geez, on some level you have to acknowledge that ideally, we're supposed to be talking about the coaching search here, and Chip Kelly in particular. Like @tilly, I am puzzled why you would go so far as to request that the Moderator give you a list of topics other than the thread topic that would be okay to discuss in the thread. I mean, "come on, man!"
I think CK drops the entire staff but one or two. You'd have to think Helfrich would get a serious look. On the D side - I have no clue who CK's contacts are.

I think if guys really knew everything that went on during recruiting trips, they would not begrudge a young man from taking as many of them as he possibly can, even if his mind has been made up since age 10 about where he really wants to play. You only live once, man. Those are the kind of memories that will be more valuable to you later in life than anything else you can possibly possess.
