Where's the source for this? Maybe we had Emmit Smith pitch to Kelly during our negotiations. Can someone leak that out too?!?

 

I never got it. When they came into Austin and people were lining up for hours to get one, I happily just went down the road to P. Terry's, which is a local chain that was clearly a take on In-N-Out. Except P's is I actually really good.

I think it's like Coors in the 70s and Yuengling today - make something hard to get, and people will love it no matter what it actually tastes like.

 

He just has to decide, it really just comes down to that. No deal is done.

Although I don't buy that he is a West Coast guy. He is actually a NE, small town guy. Frankly that matches Gainesville more than LA. Sure he has more recruiting connections out west, but that is way overplayed. Chip with no FL connections will have better classes at UF than Chip with WC connections at UCLA. After a year or two Chip will have FL connections and his classes will blow anything he could have at UCLA out of the water.

My goodness, I'm glad you got out of Altamonte. Beautiful area, everything right there. But 436 is ALWAYS a cluster, and once you escape 436, you get I-4. YAY! Lol
