Agreed, I ate there thinking it was gonna be some great burger and although it was pretty good, I left disappointed in it.

 

Clearly those who said UCLA has no chance are misinformed.

 

We have in-n-out here in Texas. I'd much rather have a burger, fries, and sweet tea from Mac's or Sandwich Inn (if that's still around).

He is the target. At this point the ball is in Chip's court. Even if our insiders are right, the door is still cracked. We are at the alter, but Chip has ditched grooms at the alter before. So even though we got to this point, there is precedent that he ditches us. That being said, I'd rather be the groom AT the alter, than the guy begging the girl not to get married and to come to him.

Not sure if this has already been posted, but if true, I feel like Tennessee gets turned down automatically by nearly everyone that has a decent coaching record nowadays lol.

UCLA is pulling all strings. Troy Aikman apparently pitched to Chip and you know he’s comfortable on the West Coast so I’m not sure how well that bodes for us. The only thing I do know is that those who emphatically stayed that UCLA stands no chance were and are wrong. You can’t make blanket statements like that.

You cant turn down something your not offer mearly gauging interested does not constitute turning down unless you need to write a story

 

PS I was told awhile ago by someone close to kelly and posted in this thread that said Chip was gonna use UF to go out west. (He likes the west coast more and has recruiting connections there). Then heard the deal with uf was done. Either way he is using both schools to dominate the negotiations. Uf is in such a weak position. They miss out on chip, and fans will go nuts. They ain’t getting frost. So it’s norvell strong in case chip falls through at the last minute.
