Simply put, a 53 year old man with no family whose life is nothing but football may not have the greatest perspective on life. Life is more than football. Now, I don't know if the post I was responding to is entirely accurate, because obviously I don't know the man, the but the post was that "football is his life". Don't get me wrong, I am excited by the hire. But I would rather have a family man at the helm.

You are right, Stringfellow should take notice of the hysteria which equals an energized fan base and $$$. I originally wanted Scott Frost, but the hysteria has made me realize that the Chip Kelly hire really is splashy as hell and could start bringing vast sums of money into the University immediately upon the hire.
