Best scenario for Kelly at UF would be that he's not looking for NFL job. And that he's been fuming inside watching sabans success and wants to show him up.
If we can get a coach to come in and show us how to complete the forward pass, I am okay if he only stays a few years
There have been plenty of articles and facts posted about this topic that prove how overblown this is. People just want to find an excuse to not like Kelly at UF. When we hang 60 on UT I bet the tunes change.
He was handed an 18 month show cause penalty https://www.cbssports.com/college-f...-kelly-but-there-are-obstacles-to-his-return/

He was right, the issues chip faced at oregon were very minor, you were throwimg sround a paperweight thinking it was a 45 pound barbell....just saying.
Might the NCAA have been heavy handed because he was out of college football and they wanted to send a message?
This is what you said. The recruiting violations were extremely minor. Its not a great argument in fsvor of frost. I prefer frost cause, he is youngsr, i think a college guy and pronably a better recruiter. Not because i am worried about chip cheating.
I said it was less risky to hire Frost than Kelly because of the NCAA sanctions. The poster denied it happened and I posted proof. I'm just showing that he was sanctioned not here to judge whether they were minor or not or Kelly's involvement, just their existence
This is so true. The NCAA loves to hammer teams that don’t matter or people exiting. They want to look tough. If Kelly had gone to another college team he would’ve been slapped on the wrist. unless he went to Alabama, then they would have cited him as an example of a coach who did the right thing in trying circumstances. We know KELLY is a winner at a high-level and college football and he is my first choice. Frost may have longer upside but has not proven it on a national stage and there is no guarantee he stays with us any longer than Kelley. Happy with either.
