Thanks. I was using a Canon 20d with a ef 17 - 85 lens if I remember correctly. I use polarizers a lot but not so much for the reds, they don't seem to do too much there but if it was bright that day, I probably had it on there. no tripod, hiking with kids doesn't permit me that luxury since I am usually carrying the majority of the supplies in my pack already. Just upgraded to a 40D and there is quite a difference. Look forward to putting it to work next summer. Lot more pics of Bryce etc at the photobucket link on my page if you like pics
