Does Miami have a QB?
Possibly. To me the biggest thing is how does he adapt xs and Os wise? He is a smart guy, but can he dumb it down enough for a college kid to win?
247 crystal ball to UF for Hylton Stubbs…
Can we at least increase the tempo? The number of plays need to increase.
except Mullen did that in the SEC. In the ACC I expect him to win most games except against the cream of the conference and split against them...
Agreed, mullen can get 6-7 wins most years and an occasional 10-11 wins every 3rd year at UNC with little recruiting. Was never a good fit for us.
Can he return?
we need to scheme WRs open or get talented kids that can get open without the scheme. They and a good OL make QBs look good.
For the DBs we have available to play, this soft zone D is the only option
In spite of the loss. Lane was able to get his WRs open. So his scheme is not bad.
He was OC for the bama NC teams. Those teams were badass- even better than sone of the later ones. Napiers philosophy is more the ground n pound...
What if he wanted to be OC for Napier? I would se that as possible. No pressure to build a roster? Just call plays
Andy Jean was injured so much that set his development back. If Frazier and others don’t transfer, why would Andy Jean? Let the kid develop.
The biggest thing with Spurrier Spurrier he trained his QBs to throw to the open areas in a play. And it’s only the WR and QB/OC who knew where...
lane has a good team…but his cocky attitude will rub off on his team and they could lay an egg like they did against Kentucky
