I have lots of gator memorabilia . the football stuff is authenticated . I have great gator basketball stuff starting with D.Lee freshman year and ending with Nick Calathes . Identifying oneself as a Christian and as a lesbian is definitely difficult. As I stated before, when I was younger, I thought the solution to escaping my true feelings was to end my life (which is also against the word of God).

I guess if you have to make it so black and white, I am "ignoring" what the bible says regarding homosexuality. It is who I am and I would rather enjoy my life with family then live a life of solitude and loneliness or dishonesty and deception. I realize that according to the bible, I will have to answer for my life choices, but I also feel that the path I have chosen in regards to serving my family, my students, and my community far outweigh who I have chosen to love and spend my life with.

Being a lesbian is but a fraction of the person that I am, and many straight people should aspire to be the person that I have tried to become. I don't ask for anyone's acceptance, but I do ask that I be given the respect to live my life...
