    I was born and raised in the Jacksonville area and graduated from Baker County High School.

    I joined the United States Coast Guard in April of 2002. I attended basic training at the Coast Guard Training Center Cape May NJ. I later attended various training in Yorktown, VA. I was picked to help start the Coast Guard Intelligence program and was sent to the Office of Naval Intelligence. I was again later pick to help start up the Coast Guard Cryptologic imitative and became an Intelligence Specialist in 2005. I have served at various agencies and organizations and have served a tour in Iraq.

    I am married to my wonderful wife of 4 years, Shelley, and I have a handsome son, Tyler.
