Crummy ballpark, but a decent drive to get there. I went over for the FIRST Gator Regional win, 1988. Wonderful team, played every opponent in the 6-team event, which was unusual for a sixer. That was the first season in the Mac. It had the original center section of the grandstand and- I think- one set of temp bleachers. Average attendance was under 1000, which was a big jump from the old park, but not something we see anymore.

On the baseball one.. Se La hosting?? lol rpi 54. Says they use own formula that has 95% rate of who will make field.. Which is about same as i do w/out a formula lol

 

Can't see us winning 7 more SEC games so I don't think we make the dance.

 

If we’re eligible, they’re gonna have a hard time not letting us in, imo. Sully’s postseason record and ability to get to Omaha won’t be ignored.

We won’t have an issue becoming eligible, I don’t think. We’d all like to see some more sec wins, and every single one makes a big difference. I don’t think we absolutely have to get to 13 conference wins though. After the rabbit Sully pulled out of his hat at the end of last season, I won’t count us out until we’re actually out.

 

Any SEC team that makes the field is a threat to win it all. Didn't Ole Miss sneak in recently and won it all?

I don't know what the magic number is, but I am convinced it's not 13. Obviously how low it goes depends on other bubble teams performance too

 

I think it varies per team/resume. 13 wins and 3-7 in series..prob not,, 13 and 4 series win , probably. The Mizzu factor will be interesting also.. I dont know if alters the magic number.. But if down to two 13 win teams on bubble, one played/swept Mizzu, & one didnt. Im betting the one that didnt gets the nod.

 

We have to finish strong. We need two wins against Arky.

 

11 maybe gets us in-12 I think for sure.
Dont rule out 1-2 wins in SEC tourney making a difference.

Hopefully I am wrong but one of those 3 teams left is Texas at Texas.I might be bias (which I am) but we have to be one of the best 64 teams in the country.

 

It’s not the best 64 that get in though. About half those are auto bids. You really need to be top 30, or win the tourney.

 

As of this morning Florida is up to #19 in RPI rankings and #5 SOS.
