I think the beating he took in his one year starting at QB in Tampa Bay convinced him it was time to retire.
Johnson and Badger are big surprises being undrafted. Johnson tested well at the combine....faster than expected and was productive at UF when healthy. Badger was maybe not as fast as the NFL would like, but he got open, made tough catches and was very productive in his one year with UF.
They both play positions that have more players than spots. Watching the NFL Network draft, the analyst gave some advice to would be players. He said if you have to decide between wr or cb, always pick cb. Because the draft board every year gets wiped out on corner backs and leaves plenty of wrs undrafted.
Back in the early 90's, a lot of people up here in the Atlanta Metro Area got burned out on Neion Dieon. When he was an Atlanta Brave, and a Falcon, everyone loved him. However, the bloom fell off that bud in 1994, when Deion went on his one-man self-promotion tour of the NFL. Basically he was acting like a whore and a lot of fans were turned off.
Way to much drama associated with the "Sanders" brand. I think their carnival show cost them in the draft. I do have a feeling Colorado will not be particularly good next year without Hunter and SS.
Colin Cowherd has some accurate takes on this situation. He, it would appear, carries no water for Deion and that entourage. I often enjoy Rich Eisen but he was an obsequious weenie in his coverage.
I think you usually get a more honest opinion from some random podcaster than Espn or Fox. They are all setup crap.
And like i said, you usually get better, more honest info from a random podcaster. Cowturd is so annoying. Almost as bad as that idiot from fsu.
