    And there's also this:
Cancer Patient Among 3 American Children Deported by ICE | Common Dreams
Federal immigration authorities deported three U.S. citizen children on Friday—including one with cancer who was reportedly expelled without medication—in a move that critics and one judge appointed by President Donald Trump said was carried out without due process.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) New Orleans field office deported the American children—ages 2, 4, and 7—along with their undocumented mothers, one of whom is pregnant. The ACLU said that both families were held incommunicado following their arrests, and that ICE agents refused or failed to respond to efforts by attorneys and relatives who were trying to contact them.

The ACLU said that one of the children has a rare form of metastatic cancer and was deported without medication or consultation with their treating physician, despite ICE being notified about the child's urgent condition. This follows last month's ICE deportation of a family including a 10-year-old American citizen with brain cancer.

Have to wonder what the critics of Democratic members of Congress who refused to stand when Trump introduced a 13-year old cancer survivor feel about this stunt by ICE. Wouldn't surprise me if supporters of Trump try to rationalize the decision on the basis that mother was in the country illegally and that the Trump Administration didn't want to separate the family.

I thought we were deporting gang members, thugs, fentanyl dealers, and violent criminals. Exactly what category did the mother and children fit in?

Just like Germany in the 1940's, the modern version of the Nuremberg Trials is coming for this band of hate-filled scum.

It hasn’t been proven that she never wore a Chicago Bulls hat though. So.

Seriously? Is this a new rule? Thread titles have to match linked articles? What a ridiculous rule.

Calling crapola as the decision to take children or leave them with family is left up to the person being deported. Can't blame the illegal alien being deported leaving the baby but it was her choice. Just more democratic socialist hysteria.

You're saying it was her choice because the Trump boys told you so? How funny

what choice did the mother have? She had to make a decision on the spot and was given no time to sort out her options? Why was it so important to deport a mother of 3 Us citizen children? What does that accomplish?

Just because you “can” do something doesn’t mean you should.

The mother could have decided to come to the US legally.

The 2-year-old was actually staying with the mother in a government provided hotel room while awaiting deportation. It was the mother's decision to take her children.

Just because the Biden Administration refused to enforce immigration laws giving free entry to illegals in the millions doesn't mean we have to live with the consequences.

Deportations can be done, should be done, and will be done.

This thread is highlighting the issue with the new "Too Hot" rules. There's too much grey area for individual moderators to make their own subjective decisions on what is allowed or not.

Two thread titles have been changed (one thread locked) because one moderator had decided that threads about Trump policies cannot include Trump's name unless his name is in the linked new article?

I'd like a reference to which exact Too Hot rule was violated, please.

No rule was violated. I’ve asked several times and no answer was given.

A Trump appointed judge disagrees with you

“On Friday, U.S. District Judge Terry Doughty—a Trump nominee—ordered a May 16 hearing in Monroe, Louisiana based on his "strong suspicion that the government just deported a U.S. citizen with no meaningful process."

"It is illegal and unconstitutional to deport, detain for deportation, or recommend deportation of a U.S. citizen," Doughty wrote, citing relevant case law. "The government contends that this is all OK because the mother wishes that the child be deported with her. But the court doesn't know that."”

Just another rogue obstructionist judge. I guess the 2-, 4-, and 7-year-olds are to tell the court they don't want to go with their mother who wants them with her, not the father.
