It appears to be a "redirect" operation. Pushing users from a legit website to a questionable one. It is a pretty crude one as the website I am pushed to is an obvious fake website for Xfinity. Not sure what other users are seeing.
I'm not seeing the issue, if someone would take a screenshot and share it here or on one of the help forums it would be appreciated. I know @citygator reported it as well on the help forum.

Maybe Gator Country is the bogus site and your browser is redirecting you to a legit site ... did you ever consider that? Did I just blow your mind?
Thinkpad, Edge. I didnt click anywhere, it just changed sites after I let it sit in an open window and then eventually went back to it. This is a different redirect than the first post in this thread.
Do videos auto-play with your configuration? Maybe a video ad played and the next one was to that site. Just thinking out loud as to what could have caused it without clicking anything.
