There seems to be a pattern emerging with the Dems, especially in southwestern states concerning illegal aliens and the aid and comfort the Dems seems to be going to these illegal invaders. I suspect that the drug cartels are already embedded in Arizona and that this just might be the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

In yet another stunning failure of leadership from Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, a now-former employee of the Arizona Department of Agriculture (AZDA) has been arrested at the southern border for alleged human smuggling of illegal aliens — a scandal that now threatens to sink Hobbs’ controversial nominee to lead the agency.

Joshua Castro, who served as a produce inspector for the AZDA, is facing both felony and misdemeanor federal charges after Border Patrol agents caught him allegedly transporting illegal aliens across the U.S. border earlier this month, KOLD reported.

Border agents later caught up to him after witnessing the same vehicle ferrying two illegal aliens — Mexican nationals who admitted to paying between $7,600 and $12,000 each to be smuggled into the United States.

Another Arizona lunatic. Perhaps we should give that state to Mexico

How do you take this crap seriously? A produce inspector getting arrested is a stunning failure of leadership by the governor?

I probably need to repost my list of 34 Elected and appointed GOP leaders charged and convicted of being a pedophile over the last 34 months. Of course a produce inspector is pretty big time.

As another poster noted. Mandate eVerify for the businesses and solve the problem by sanctioning the business.

But no party will, because they want cheap labor. Show up at every big farm during harvest or any roofing job site…..

Anyone notice that virtually none of the "illegal" aliens deported by Trump are agricultural workers or are employed in the meatpacking industry? Anyone think that the guy would have been arrested and charged by ICE if he was employed by a corporate farming firm that employed undocumented workers?

Aside from the hilarious propaganda of the OP article, the guy in question in this one wasn’t “deported” - he was caught smuggling people across the border for $$$.

I have been looking for the most useless thread on this forum. Thankfully this thread settles it

Although it's completely illogical @Gatorrick22's apparent rationale is that she is somewhat to blame because he was employed by the state during her term as governor keeping in mind that he was a relatively low level employee and that as governor she almost certainly had nothing to do with the decision to hire him.

LOL sort of reminds me of those many threads I have bitched about where some republican town commissioner in some town of 7 or 8 hundred gets arrested for exposing his wiener or things like that.

It would be fair game if this guy was a politician OR at least a political appointee. He is not a politician, he’s a worker. So this is a different sort of leap imo.

It says this guy is a produce inspector. Weren’t you a code or building inspector? He’s practically your homeboy.
