Im glad you made the Tebow comp, I've been thinking that exact same thing but was afraid to say it. Teams don't see Shadeur as starter caliber and don't want that type of potential distraction in their backup. Creating a custom room for the draft with his branding all over the place didn't help.
I’m not a sanders fan but I do feel bad for how he got humiliated publicly. I blame his dad and the media for what happened. Kiper and the talking heads on espn are idiots and tried to force him to be a 1st round pick. That said, he’ll never work a real job in his life so I think he’s ok.
Sanders will end up on the practice squad. I predict that Sanders is one of the last to sign his contract. He will try to negotiate more money because of what he believes he deserves.
I guess what it's telling me is we do/did not have much talent, still. I don't know what it's going to take to have a player at each position going in the top four rounds, but we seem to be a long way from that. That may be an it is what it is, but I feel it's going to effect our recruiting bc if I'm recruiting against you and have a better record of putting players in the NFL(more players/higher round picks), I'm going to ask you that question- we are paying as much or more than Florida, do you want to increase your chances of being drafted higher?
