Market is tanking? The S&P 500 is up 10% since April 8th. We added 228,000 new jobs in March. Incomes were up 3.6% in March on an annualized basis. Imagine what could happen if China comes to the table and/or a new Fed chair is born. You've already missed a 10% rally. Maybe you should get in now, because there is a decent chance both of those things are going to happen. Imagine if Ukraine and Russia came to terms. Can you say Dow 60,000? Yepp... If you were truly concerned, hopefully you see a 10% rally in the past two weeks as evidence of a stabilizing market. Ever consider maybe it's the libs owning you?

It’s hard to believe the extent these people will rationalize these ridiculously bad and historically non conservative policies just in the name of party and/or cult of personality.

Fact check: Trump lies about the price of eggs, groceries and gas | CNN Politics

Trump claimed last Thursday that gas prices “hit $1.98 yesterday in a couple of states.” That wasn’t true. No state had an average gas price below $2.70 per gallon on Wednesday.

Trump claimed last Thursday and Friday that grocery prices “are down” and then claimed Tuesday that they have “come down.” False again. Average grocery prices in March were up about 0.49% from February, according to federal Consumer Price Index data, which was the biggest month-to-month jump since October 2022. Average grocery prices in March were also up about 2.41% from the previous March, the biggest year-over-year jump since August 2023.

Egg prices have spiked over the past year amid a bird flu outbreak. Trump claimed Tuesday that “as you know, the cost of eggs has come down like 93, 94% since we took office.” That is wildly inaccurate. A decline of 93% or 94% from the national average consumer cost of a dozen large Grade A eggs in January, about $4.95, would mean that eggs are now costing consumers under 38 cents per dozen. Any grocery shopper can tell you that is nowhere close to true.

just the absurdity of it. Egg prices down by 94%? $5.90 a dozen on average. 2024? $3.17

The average is $3.16 for gas.

two states that were tied with the lowest average gas price on Wednesday, Mississippi and Tennessee, were both at $2.70

    just blatant ridiculous lying

So which is it? Trump says his team is negotiating with China on tariffs. China says he's full of crap and lying.

The 94% on eggs thing was just ridiculous, anyone with a functioning brain would understand that math didn’t check out.

The claims on gas prices also seemed ridiculous, but I figured he was running with a low cost state (OK or something). Turns out that wasn’t close either. So what were they rolling with? Prices in Moscow?

Yep. It's right up there with "I need a bill from Congress to stop these violent criminals and traffickers from abusing our southern border."

Again, stats can be deceiving when that is all you want to believe. I don't look at stats because both sides can manipulate them. I look at what I buy and I know what I am spending. Thanks.

They just came off prices as high as peak covid. However the recent crash after tariffs has them simply priced high vs records.

I bought a 2024 Honda Accord, in perfect condition, for $15 the other day. Thanks Trump!

I know stats have it at least $30,000 higher, as do places like TrueCar ..... but stats can be deceiving. I'll believe my own fake eyes! :)
