    Not sure why anyone should be surprised that Hegseth want a makeup room at the Pentagon. Trump selected for the position of Sec. of Defense almost entirely based on his history a Fox News infotainment star. Using normal criteria he far and the away the least qualified person ever nominated for the position. Given the reason that he was selected in the first place looking good on camera is critical. As far as Trump is concerned a telegenic appearance far outweighs respect for security protocols or competence in general.
