Kristi Noem, had her purse stolen while dining at a restaurant. Oddly, she had $3k in cash, along with other personal items. Why on earth would the DHS Director be walking around with $3000 in her purse?

Now, the DHS Secretary, who responsible for protecting the nation cannot even protect her own purse.

This was explained several hours ago.....Her children and grandchildren are in town. Lot's of times when my kids and their families are around especially around holidays I take them out for dinner or other things.

Leave her alone. 3k in cash is the new 300. She is already prepping for hyperinflation.

She could not find any establishments that accept Trump Coin so she needed to go to her emergency fund

Needed $3k cash for gifts...lol..want to buy a gold bridge?

Edit..her net worth per her filings is $1M. Mine is multiple of that and I don't walk around with $3k cash.
She has 3 grandkids. $1k cash each for Easter? No straight face test here

Not sure why we are focusing on the money. How about we focus on the continued incompetence of the current administration. HER PURSE WAS STOLEN RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE SECRET SERVICE DETAIL that was there for protection!

lol … if that’s really the explanation given as to why she had $3000 in cash on her — she was taking the grandkids out for a meal — then they must think there are some really gullible people out there who will beleive it…. And repost it…

I have been blessed in my life to be very successful in both business and personal- I love to bless others so it is not unusual for me to carry $1000 in my money clip.

3000 for her kids and grandkids in town and people believe that. I'm in my sixties and very rarely have to use cash anywhere.

Maybe she needed cash to rescue dogs from a shelter. And then kill them.

The only time I carried that much cash was to pay a contractor who insisted on being paid to in cash. As far as the quality of his work was concerned he was very reliable. Probably not so much when it came to reporting his income to the IRS although that wasn't my concern at the time. I usually carry less than $100 in cash.

I maybe carry $20 or so. Dont even know my PIN number on my ATM card. When I need cash I just pay with discover at the grocery store and get cash back.

Although I know the PIN on my ATM if I need it I also get cash back when I pay with a debit card at the grocery story. Probably not prudent I use the same PIN for my ATM and debit cards.
