No argument there. I'm just saying that this shouldn't be one of those calls that you can challenge and delay the game. Mostly because it is so ripe for a "hail Mary" in the latter innings where the coach has no belief that the runner left early, but is just using up a challenge because why not, maybe get lucky. If statistics were kept, I'm sure it is the least successful challenge, but we all sit and wait, plus the flow of the game is interrupted needlessly.
Not really. Everyone from now on will have it and get the same number of years. Freshmen this year would have four more; sophomores would have 3, etc. Roster management would be challenging at first without increasing the numbers on the roster. The most perplexing thing would be the career records.. Maybe the Maris *.
I think Keagan should pitch the midweek game. Less importantly does Taylor hit three homers and get that pesky freshman home run record distraction off the table?

We are “only” fifth in the league standings too, which will factor in some, and there are still questions about KR, which could hurt us. I think we need 4-2 to feel comfortable. JMO.
Oh Poor Erin would be slaughtered by fans here...17 errors as a freshman, 12 as a sophomore and 8 as a junior!! Remember Mia was a freshman with half those and less as a sophomore hitting almost .400 with 16 homeruns and still gets criticized weekly. Rylee is a senior so different story but she will finish close to Erin's fielding percentage if she gets it together at ss. The expectations are close to ridiculous as we muscle through the SEC as the only team without our ace pitching 2 games! Our girls are doing great with what they are working with right now! And I'm shocked Falby didn't get a golden ticket..I missed if anyone discussed that but she's amazing and has had such a great year!
The Gators have been blessed with the likes of Skylar Wallace, Sophia Reynoso, and Katie Medina to play shortstop.
Wallace had her struggles there as well. I don't know if everybody remembers that or not but she was definetley much better there also year than to begin with. I loved watching reynoso.
Errors and Unearned Runs in conference play: 2025 (18 games) 19 errors 21 UE runs 2025 (projected) 25 errors 28 UE runs 2024 (24 Games) 20 errors 12 UE runs The increase in UE can be attributed to both fielding problems and pitching. It seems to me this year we have had a lot of potential errors not scored as such. It also seems our infielders have missed a lot of chances by being out of position or slow to react that are not reflected as errors in the stats. I would love to see the analytics they keep. Probably makes the Kentucky shortstop look good.
“So-so” was a favorite of mine. Sophia was so funny when you spoke to her. She had a great sense of humor.
