No one has remotely suggested perfection or anything close to it.....because we all recognize that isn't realistic over the course of the season. Fortunately most posters understand the ups and downs of a season and the fact that even great hitters are retired more than they reach base
Then why, anytime someone points out that we happen to be going through one of the downs, are they relentlessly attacked? It'd be nice to have a full conversation about the team without people immediately going into a defensive crouch
