He may have looked in the spring game, but I can’t get that terrible performance against Texas out of my head. I know it was a no win situation, but he looked horrendous. Lol

All I can say is most improved player this spring.
To get your first experience on the road against Texas last year, must have been over whelming.
He didn’t just look good in the spring game, he moved the ball and scored almost every drive. The other QB’s had the same chance. He had decent escape moves, crisp passing and ran up the score. He should have had some reps before they put him in the Texas game that they did. A very good backup if DJ has more injuries. Harrison, the other QB had a good second half, but looked stiff and a step slow in the first half, hardly moved the chains. So now we have a couple of guys that can at least pass when they are on. The key should be who can keep the team moving and scoring. Forget the Texas game, this kid has a very good set of skills, looks smart and can throw darts. He will play this year.

    Congrats to Aidan.

I enjoyed his presser after the spring game.
Regarding the TX game he was not playing defense as I recall.

He was flung into a very difficult situation.
DJ hurt, on the road against what? #1 or #2 at the time, A very highly ranked team.

I think the Gators had somewhat "packed it in" mentally after DJ went down. It was a trap game
    given the circumstances.
