    The National Archives have released the first files relating to the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy.

    Records Related to the Assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy

    The following link is to autopsy photos. Warning: Graphic. But it’s important to note Photo 13, which shows where RFK was shot point blank behind the ear. The “assassin” Sirhan Sirhan shooting, of course, from in front of him. (Another Kennedy magic bullet.)

    I don’t see a bullet hole in #13, looks like emergency surgery ….

    The autopsy showed that he was shot point blank behind the ear. That was not dependent on this photo. But I assume there was surgery there for a reason.

    I agree, not a bullet hole, if anything, the notes say something about surgery to relieve pressure.

    Seems unlikely since he remained conscious for a little bit after the shooting and even briefly talked to the people around him. He wasn’t pronounced dead until then next day. Doesn’t sound consistent with being shot behind the ear point blank….

    Okay, forget the damn photo. Coroner Thomas Noguchi found that he was shot point blank behind the ear. Which caused the government to go after Noguchi's job.

    Isn't there some video of the assassination? At least as I recall if was from a distance.

    I looked up Thomas Noguchi on Wikipedia, apparently he is still alive at 98 years old.

    I don't recall a video, there may be one. It's been a long time. I remember bits and pieces, like the girl in the polka dot dress saying, "We killed him!"
