scotus can also stop all payments to El Salvador.

is it seriously your belief that EL Salvador will not return him if Trump request them to? really? I know someone who kidnapped your kid and needs your number to tell you where to send the bitcoin. I can pm you the wallet address if you prefer

Yep, he has received due process. Not sure any illegal criminal invader should receive any such consideration to begin with, but he did receive it. No one that breaks into our country deserves due process, but that gangbanger did, and he was deported legally by our AG.

And according to their Vice President they won't send him back because Trump is paying them to hold Abrego Garcia. If Trump wanted him returned to the US he would be on the next plane out.
In a press conference in El Salvador on April 16, Van Hollen said Ulloa told him that they are still holding Kilmar Abrego Garcia in the Salvadoran prison CECOT because President Donald Trump is paying the government to keep him imprisoned.

Abrego Garcia updates: Van Hollen in El Salvador; Trump admin responds

From the 4th circuit appeals opinion I posted above, noting that facilitate means that the administration actually needs to take action.

The Supreme Court's decision does not, however, allow the government to do essentially nothing. It requires the government "to 'facilitate' Abrego Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador." ... "Facilitate" is an active verb. It requires that steps be taken as the Supreme Court has made perfectly clear. … ("[T]he Government should be prepared to share what it can concerning the steps it has taken and the prospect of further steps."). The plain and active meaning of the word cannot be diluted by its constriction, as the government would have it, to a narrow term of art. We are not bound in this context by a definition crafted by an administrative agency and contained in a mere policy directive. … Thus, the government's argument that all it must do is "remove any domestic barriers to [Abrego Garcia's] return," … is not well taken in light of the Supreme Court's command that the government facilitate Abrego Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador.

Let's count the problems with this statement:

    1. He did not ever receive an order for deportation. In fact, just the opposite. He received an order of protection against deportation to El Salvador from an immigration judge. That order is still legally binding.
    2. He has never been convicted of a crime or even charged with a crime.
    3. The government outright admits that they had no legal authority to do what they did.
    4. He wasn't deported, he was incarcerated and sent to an offshore facility that we contracted out to send people.

Bring him back, put him in jail and get him in front a judge asap and have him deported back to his home country. Simple as that.

I stand by the Constitution. He had a protection order from a judge stating he could not be deported. Trump ignored the law and deported him anyway.

A different judge ordered the planes returned. Trump ignored that too.

A third judge has now ordered the US must facilitate his return. Trump is not only ignoring this order too, but it's claiming he has no recourse? BS. Demand his return or stop payments and AG will be on the next plane back to the US.

The SCOTUS also ruled 9-0 to return him.

Now, what kind of leader ignores several court orders? One that follows the Constitution? Hell no. Ignoring the cost is the actions of a Fascist authoritarian. That's what you're supporting.

I'm not sure the SCOTUS had all the paperwork on their "darling" illegal criminal invader to begin with...

The issue is that it doesn’t matter. The Supreme Court is the law, and one doesn’t get to ignore the law just because they disagree with it.
