The video covers it. From Wikipedia: Taurus KEPD 350 - Wikipedia The dual stage 480-kilogram (1,100 lb) warhead, called MEPHISTO (multi-effect penetrator highly sophisticated and target optimised),[10] features a precharge and initial penetrating charge to clear soil or enter "hard and deeply buried targets" (HDBT) such as hardened underground bunkers, then a variable delay fuze to control detonation of the main warhead. The missile weighs about 1,400 kg (3,100 lb) and has a maximum body diameter of 1 metre (3.3 ft). Intended targets are hardened bunkers; command, control, and communications facilities; airfield and port facilities; ammunition storage facilities; ships in port or at sea; area target attack; and bridges.[11]
supposedly our aid will soon stop. Trump hasn’t announced any additional drawdowns since he's been in office, and even if he does, our military aid is close to funding limits passed by congress, 2Q 2024. Hopefully our intel support will continue - even with Trump wanting to appease Putin. US military aid for Ukraine is about to cease. Is Europe ready? | David Shimer
Daddy Putin called and put Baby Donnie in his place. Told him that he would never be a strong Czar and that he should get busy oppressing innocent people and robbing the middle class. Then said that he doesn’t have the nads to invade Canada. Trumpty dumpty singing a different tune today.
my first thought...does it have enough to take out a span or a column? why hasn't it happened already?

Zelenskyy told Trump he wanted to buy $50B in weapons and Trump isn’t having it. Hell, he just blamed Ukraine again for starting the war.
No idea if it can or not. It just seems like the first weapon that Ukraine will receive that is designed to do the job. As to why it hasn't happened yet, maybe Ukraine has not received the munitions and/or training yet, maybe Ukraine has not yet configured the correct launch vehicle (I don't think these were designed to be launched by F-16s; they may need to modify either the vehicle or the weapon), or maybe Ukraine is waiting until these sham peace talks completely break down and Russia tries a major move.
Thanks PB. Ukraine would be foolish to assume ANY US aid will be forthcoming. This administration is completely undependable and even if they announce the resumption of military aid, they cannot be trusted. Look what they do with the US and world economies regarding tariffs. Tariffs today, suspended tomorrow, tariffs today, suspended tomorrow, and so on and so forth. Trump is just as likely to do the same with military support. Yes today, no tomorrow. I am no military logistics expert but similar insanity would clog the military logistics system down, to the point, nothing would get delivered anyway. There are logistical realities that cannot "function" based on the daily whims and moods and politics created by such flip flopping chaos. Even when it comes from the president of the U.S. How could any Ukraine military planners even begin to function under such unreliability? Sadly, IMO, Ukraine must protect itself from such unreliability, ergo, if European NATO countries wish for Ukraine to survive, they must step up to the plate, or enjoy a DMZ between itself and Russia, and Putin's long running territorial expansion westward, along a very long border.
The US is the only country that manufacturers these vehicles. I believe they are made by Lockheed Martin.
The ATACMS final attack speed is almost Mach 3. I believe a lot of cruise missiles are between Mach .8 to 2. That would suggest that the cruise missiles would be easier to intercept. For the KSB, this is what was in the NYTimes article about ATACMS and the Bridge: Before General Zabrodskyi was sidelined, he and General Aguto had selected the targets for Operation Lunar Hail. The campaign required a degree of hand-holding not seen since General Donahue’s day. American and British officers would oversee virtually every aspect of each strike, from determining the coordinates to calculating the missiles’ flight paths. Of roughly 100 targets across Crimea, the most coveted was the Kerch Strait Bridge, linking the peninsula to the Russian mainland. Mr. Putin saw the bridge as powerful physical proof of Crimea’s connection to the motherland. Toppling the Russian president’s symbol had, in turn, become the Ukrainian president’s obsession. It had also been an American red line. In 2022, the Biden administration prohibited helping the Ukrainians target it; even the approaches on the Crimean side were to be treated as sovereign Russian territory. (Ukrainian intelligence services tried attacking it themselves, causing some damage.) But after the partners agreed on Lunar Hail, the White House authorized the military and C.I.A. to secretly work with the Ukrainians and the British on a blueprint of attack to bring the bridge down: ATACMS would weaken vulnerable points on the deck, while maritime drones would blow up next to its stanchions. But while the drones were being readied, the Russians hardened their defenses around the stanchions. The Ukrainians proposed attacking with ATACMS alone. Generals Cavoli and Aguto pushed back: ATACMS alone wouldn’t do the job; the Ukrainians should wait until the drones were ready or call off the strike. In the end, the Americans stood down, and in mid-August, with Wiesbaden’s reluctant help, the Ukrainians fired a volley of ATACMS at the bridge. It did not come tumbling down; the strike left some “potholes,” which the Russians repaired, one American official grumbled, adding, “Sometimes they need to try and fail to see that we are right.”

Limited resource. You have have to decide where the biggest bang for your buck is. The Ukrainians hit the Bridge with a vehicle bomb back in '22 and the Russians had it back up and running within a week.
