There were several battles to get to 11. Some could have went the other way for sure.

 

I was embarrassed for Scott Strcklin at the O&B game. He took a chance hiring Golden and 3 years into his tenure he wins the championship in the toughest conference in the country then tops it off with a National Championship. The disrespect shown him at the ceremony to celebrate that Natty is astounding to this Gator.

There is not a ton of patience these days. Booing him at the celebration for a Natty was a bit much IMHO. Regarding Napier, we don't know yet. But after the last years run and toss in the group of playmakers he has secured for this year, things would appear to be looking up. Big time!!

Some of the other programs are a little bit off. Gymnastics needs to get back on top. Baseball, what the heck?

At this stage of my life I'm trying to have realistic expectations. (whatever that means). I suppose having expectations is part of the problem.

Eventually, I'd like to get back in Gainesville to retire, (that is, before I simply faceplant from geezerdom) Go to baseball games, football games and basketball games and be grateful.

Unrelated note: Went to the Sphere in Vegas to see the Eagles. Holy crap. No words can describe.
