I recall before ESD people posting we would aign about 20. I'm wondering if the staff is going to be more aggressive with roster exits.
85 sooner or later but some of us thought they would go heavier on the portal. I guess they like what they already have.
Including offensive line and defensive line, wide outs, many of us were hoping UF would drop big bags for transfer portal types earlier. But listening to Napier (press Conferences), assistant coaches and the various UF pundits, it sounds like UF was happy with player development. Hope that plays out on the football field in 2025
Still consider Napier's 25 "Close Out" with the addition of Flowers almost beyond belief. I thought UF was looking at maybe a 15th - 20th close (at best). I love we poached some awful good players from S Florida. Outside of Oregon (Unreal D- Back signing class) UF must be #2 or very close to it. We got some "Good-uns" in the D Backfield position group! Think with player development UF is gonna be tough back there. (If we can hold on to what we got that is).
Worry about DT. Would still like to see UF bring in a big DT with starting experience this summer to stuff the run/clog the middle. Lot of Spring game runs against the interior of our DL
We had no one from our 2 deep playing in the game, which I believe was prudent. You can't take anything away from a spring game with our OL pushing around walk ons Bullard and Swafford and true freshmen, one of whom was coming off a back injury.
