If rumors are correct, he was already getting over two mil for being average. Kid has lost his mind. Maybe someone rlse gives him more but I wouldn't take that chance.

Well he can't transfer within the SEC so where does he go?
Who needs a QB and can afford his ask?

    Oregon or USC?
Colorado looking to make a splash?

Oregon is planning to roll with Dante Moore this season, I doubt they see Nico as an upgrade.

USC could be a fit, Nico is from California. Maybe ND? Colorado may make some ime sense too.

The real question is will TN end up with an upgrade through the spring portal?

Very possible if they're willing to pay the 2 million/yr they were giving NI to a proven QB.

Now that the word is out, there will be some QB's back channeling negotiations before jumping into the portal.

Likely better with the guys on the roster once the kid gets experience.

UT and Heupel absolutely did the right thing.

Personal interests will never lead to success in a team sport. No player is above the team and the program.

Yes, Nico has the right to procure a better deal for himself. Doesn’t mean a coach can let him call the shots and create a mutiny in the locker room.

It would be just like Tennessee to do the right thing with Nico, given he is not anywhere near a great QB and a recipe for team toxicity, then pay someone like Rashada to come on board.

Nico, Tennessee’s Rashada. When do they come to the swamp?

You see it in pro sports all the time. The guys that take less money to get more talent with them are more likely to win. Money is part but team first is just as important.

They could be 500 and be average. We probably have to be a little better than average to break even. Winning that 8-9th game will be tough opponents.

Even if he was on his way out, you show up to practice and you play the spring game. Enter the portal when it’s time. To not show up is Busch League.

I don’t think Norvell wants that mess in his locker room. No school should. He hasn’t even performed well anyway. All about himself.
