(SB) time to sit shoemaker?

I don't think you sit her but other players, including all-everything Kendra, have benefited from a change in the batting order. We'll see. Her ABs aren't terrible. Feels like she's very close, so maybe just a minor change will help. She's still got huge, huge potential.

 

Don't let @rickjs1 read this. In all seriousness, it seems like she's pressing at the plate of late and maybe a temporary drop in the batting order would take some of the pressure off. She got off to such an unbelievable start, though, it was only a matter of time until she came back to earth. Great talent and she'll be fine. Trust in Coach Walton to handle his team. I do.

 

She will adjust and we will adjust our expectations. Like ocalaman says, her start was not sustainable. Her ABs still look good to me, but just not getting any breaks.

Did you see the game today? With her height she pulled a home run in from over the fence.

We can talk about sitting Brown, but I'd stick with Shoemaker. She's gonna come around. CTW knows what he's doing.

If CTW didnt sit Sarah L, he will not sit Ava. Although I would love to see Mia play DH and Gabi move yto 2nd, I really dont think he will do it. Just as I have posted for 4 years, Aric is a poor hitting coach. Great guy, poor hiiting coach. CTW will not change or replace his bestest buddy and former roommate.

 

Taylor will find a groove again imho... Whether it is even close to earlier this year is TBD. She's a very good fielder, who worries pitchers and opposite coaches.

Holtorf is worse at ss than Mia is at 2. If anything maybe swap Taylor and Mia in the lineup for a few games
