Because it was asked earlier in the thread, the Teepublic designs tend to not be officially licensed. I do not think money is typically paid to UF or the players from Teepublic (it is really a network of small t-shirt makers, so some of them may pay the licensing fees, but usually Teepublic users are trying to avoid that).
I bought a bunch of SEC championship t-shirts (for family members) a year or two after we lost to Bama in 1999. No one even caught onto it. $1 each
My mother in law bought a Gators National Championship hat from 2000 and got it signed from Coach Donovan because she knew somebody and gave it to me. I thanked her for it but I am really embarrassed to have it. It ain't right.
